A vulnerability was found in the wifi security protocol WPA2, the vulnerability is named KRACK. This affects nearly all wifi connected devices. Microsoft released a patch (KB4041676) to fix their operating systems on October 10th.
If your machine is covered under Digital Agent's managed IT service, this patch will be automatically applied.
If your machine isn't covered, please make sure the latest patches from Microsoft are applied to all machines.
Apple and Android are working on soon to be released patches.
For your home wifi routers/access points, please check with your manufacturer's website to see if a firmware update/patch is available.
Update: Sonicwalls and integrated Sonicwall wireless are not susceptible to the Krack attacks according to Sonicwall/Dell.
